Do you ever feel like everything has to be perfect before you can take action? Or, if you want it done right, you have to do it yourself? Many business owners feel this way. BWN began in 1979 as 'The Women's Network' with the goal of providing an informal networking setting for women. In 1992, the group refocused to provide a more formal networking organization and incorporated in November of that year.
A volunteer board of directors runs BWN, which has nearly 200 members representing large and small businesses, non-profits, government and private organizations. Although most members live or work in Howard County, individuals from all over the Baltimore/ Washington Corridor area attend monthly meetings.
