Lifelong Learner Scholarship FundraiserBWN began in 1979 as 'The Women's Network' with the goal of providing an informal networking setting for women. In 1992, the group refocused to provide a more formal networking organization and incorporated in November of that year.
A volunteer board of directors runs BWN, which has nearly 200 members representing large and small businesses, non-profits, government and private organizations. Although most members live or work in Howard County, individuals from all over the Baltimore/ Washington Corridor area attend monthly meetings.
