Join us as we support and celebrate our eight Scholarship Award winners! Thanks to the generosity of BWN members and the community at large, we are able to provide this record breaking number of Scholarships. Each recipient has demonstrated leadership and commitment in the community and is pursuing either a technical certificate, higher level of education or specific training needed for work.. Since its inception in 2000, the BWN Scholarship Fund has awarded more than $80,000 in Scholarships. Thank you to everyone who has donated, held fundraisers and participated in fundraising events. Come and meet the recipients and celebrate what makes BWN so special–our commitment to supporting each other and women in the community.

ALSO:

We are also celebrating our Annual Boss Lady Awards. This is our most prestigious recognition for those truly inspiring standout members. Nominations were accepted in the categories of Fierce (celebrating that strong leader who inspires us all with their tenacity and creativity) and Fearless (recognizing someone who has overcome significant challenges in the last year.)

NONPROFIT OF THE MONTH:

The BWN Lifelong Learner Scholarship Fund provides scholarships for women who are returning to the workplace and need to level up their skills, women who are working on obtaining certifications and/or advancing their education. Recipients are after a rigorous application process. Awardees have demonstrated commitment to their community and leadership skills.
