The Red Devils funds services to improve quality of life for breast cancer patients and their families. The emotional and physical impact of this disease may make some of the things we take for granted almost impossible:

• House cleaning
• Getting to doctor appointments
• Preparing family meals
• Fun

Our Services
Patients are eligible for services if they live and seek treatment in Maryland and are referred by participating hospitals and breast centers. Recipients of services are identified by social workers and support staff at these facilities. We have established relationships with these groups because they work closely with patients and are in the best position to determine who will benefit most from these services.

The Red Devils is a Maryland charitable organization inspired by the courage, grace and humor of two young women, Jessica Cowling and Ginny Schardt, who refused to be defined by their disease.

Requirements

• Applicant must be a non-profit.
• Be a member in good standing for at least 2 years at the time of application.
• Request for Spotlight Non-Profit needs to be submitted to the President-Elect by Jan. 31 for the following BWN year from September through August. If more than one non-profit applies, the Board will vote at the Feb. board meeting.
• Applicant must regularly attend meetings, at least 50% + of lunch meetings or send a representative.
